Overview
Steps of using gold reagent:
1. Firstly, use lime or other alkali to adjust the alkalinity of the ore heap or slurry, and adjust the pH value to 11-12;
2. During heap leaching or pool leaching, prepare a certain concentration of gold leaching agent solution for spraying or soaking based on the optimal leaching concentration determined by the experiment;
3. When stirring and leaching, leach according to the optimal slurry concentration, gold leaching agent concentration, leaching time and other conditions determined by the experiment;
4. During the leaching process, the concentration of the leaching agent should be regularly measured. When the concentration decreases, the gold leaching agent should be added in a timely manner;
5. Due to the different composition and acidity of the ore, the optimal reagent concentration should be determined based on the actual amount of ore and the experimental results of the ore sample, and the gold leaching agent should be added proportionally.

Working principle
Using sodium cyanide (NaCN) in the gold dressing agent to react with gold to form a water-soluble complex Na [Au (CN) 2].
Then, gold is removed from the solution as a metal through a displacement reaction using active metals such as zinc.
The reaction equation is:
4Au+8NaCN+2H2O+O2=4Na[Au(CN)2] + 4NaOH
2Na[Au(CN)2] +Zn=2Au+Na2[Zn(CN)4]
